Thailand is one of Asia’s most picturesque holiday destinations, which delivers plenty of excitement, relaxation and adventure, making it a popular choice for all, from families to honeymooners, backpackers to those seeking high end luxury.

Travel between golden temples in a tuk-tuk; sample the spicy street food at a night market; watch elephants wander through an ancient national park – Thailand is a wonderful mixture of unforgettable experiences.

As you are greeted with smiles from just about everyone you meet, you’ll discover why Thailand has long been known as ‘The Land of Smiles’. There’s a warm welcome wherever you go - the only thing you need to do is decide what you’d like to see – whether it’s a glittering royal residence in a hectic city centre or a tranquil island with rich marine life. Thailand is one of the few places in the world where you can see a city, rainforest and beach all in one trip.

The climate in the USA varies dramatically across its vast area. The Northeast experiences four distinct seasons with cold, snowy winters and warm, humid summers, making it ideal for seasonal sports and year-round cultural activities.

The Midwest and Great Plains see extreme temperature fluctuations, with very cold winters and hot summers, while the arid Southwest, including states like Arizona and Nevada, experiences hot temperatures and very little rainfall, making it perfect for desert adventures and exploring natural landmarks.

Travelers should be aware of seasonal weather patterns like hurricanes along the Gulf Coast and Southeastern coast from June to November, and tornadoes in the Great Plains during the spring and early summer.

Bangkok

With a trip to Thailand your first stop will likely be bustling Bangkok. A city where tuk-tuks whizz along narrow roads and the aroma of spiced street food wafts in the air - it’s a complete feast for the senses. Here, you can drop by iconic sights such as the Grand Palace and the Wat Arun temple, wander through winding markets in search of souvenirs, and even join a Thai culinary masterclass!

Pattaya

Pattaya is a bustling beach resort on Thailand’s east coast. Pattaya caters to a wide range of interests – soak up the sun on the golden beaches, savour the vibrant street food scene, or delve into culture and history through its temples and festivals.

As night falls, Pattaya comes alive with an energetic party atmosphere, offering an extensive selection of bars, clubs and cabarets. For a more laid-back experience visitors can also find tranquil rooftop bars and charming beachside restaurants to unwind.

Koh Samui

Nature enthusiasts will appreciate Koh Samui’s diverse landscape, featuring stunning waterfalls, dense jungles, and a rich array of marine life. Take a trip to see the iconic Big Buddha, and to experience typical Thai culture, head over to Fisherman’s Village, where mouth-watering seafood dishes awaits.

With its exciting nightlife, rejuvenating spas, and wellness offerings like yoga retreats, Koh Samui ensures every visitor finds their perfect balance between relaxation and excitement.

Phuket

Attracting a lot of first-time visitors to Thailand, Phuket is Thailand’s largest island.

Patong is Phuket’s liveliest resort, famous for it’s beach parties and nightlife.

The island is large enough that it has something for everyone – take a trip to the night market, spend a day in Phuket Town experiencing the Arts and Crafts scene or take a relaxing boat trip around the famous Phang Na Bay.

Hua Hin & Cha Am

Once a sleepy fishing village, Hua Hin is a pretty beachside town which is often frequented by the Thai Royal Family. Pay a visit to Hua Hin Hills Vineyard, Hua Hin Night Market or Huay Mongkol Temple. Hua Hin has an atmosphere of old-world sophistication that still distinguishes it from other seaside resorts.

Chang Rai

Chiang Rai is Thailand’s northernmost city and is truly unique. You’ll find traditional hill tribes still living in the mountains and a must see is the incredible Wat Huay Pla Kung. This enormous Buddha looms high over the countryside and if you climb its ‘dragon staircase’, you’ll be greeted by spectacular views.

Visit jade markets or pick up locally crafted souvenirs at Chiang Rai Night Bazaar.

No trip to Chiang Rai would be complete without a long-tailed boat ride to Sop Ruak. Also known as the Golden Triangle, this is where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, surrounded by a stunning river landscape.

Krabi

Krabi is a truly stunning destination that’s definitely worth a visit!

The main hub is Ao Nang, a charming low-key resort area on a beautiful sweep of sand from where you can take a day trip by boat to nearby beauty spots such as Koh Phi Phi and Koh Kai.

Rock climbing is a popular activity in Krabi, with its unique limestone cliffs attracting both professional climbers and beginners.

Chang Mai

Chiang Mai is the largest city in the North of Thailand, approximately 1 hours flight from Bangkok.

After you’ve spent some time exploring the temples in Chiang Mai, you may want to visit the Saturday Night Market Walking Street – Wua Lai Road, for something a little different. It’s a fun experience that starts late in the afternoon and continues until 10:30 at night.
