Ho Chi Minh
A large, modern city, Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) is home to many local markets, restaurants and colonial buildings.
Ho Chi Minh is Vietnam’s largest city and the old name of Saigon is still used by locals. Home to many modern skyscrapers but also the city maintains carefully preserved heritage sites.
Hanoi and Ha long Bay
Hanoi is the Vietnamese capital, with superb colonial architecture originating from the French occupation, sitting side-by-side with the timeless traditions which can be seen in the Old Quarter. Hanoi is a picturesque city with an abundance of lakes, shaded boulevards and impressive buildings both old and new.
Situated 3 hours west of Hanoi, Halong Bay is home to many traditional wooden junk boats which can take you to unpopulated islands and the unique floating fishing villages which are spread throughout the area. Da Nang

Nha Trang
Nha Trang is a charming coastal town with a long bay of white sand at its heart.
There’s plenty of entertainment going on with a large theme park just an over-water cable-car ride from the centre, exciting watersports on offer all along the beach, and an array of buzzing bars and restaurants where you can while away the evening dancing or listening to live music.
Hue
Hue is an ancient colonial city famed for its impressive 19th century citadel, a symbol of the former Empire which ruled the region.
Take a ride on a brightly painted dragon boat along the Perfume River, stopping to see the stunning mausoleums of 19th-century rulers such as Minh Mang and the celebrated seven-storey Thien Mu pagoda.
Hoi An
It’s as if time has stood still In Hoi An’s UNESCO-listed old town. Hoi An is a small riverside town which was once a prosperous trading port.
Hoi An is close to many of the areas popular beach side resorts and the town itself is a living museum, featuring colourful houses, markets, cafes and restaurants, many of which front the lagoon.
Phu Quoc
Phu Quoc is Vietnam’s largest island and a popular destination for a relaxing beach holiday where you can just chill out and enjoy the warm breeze and superb beaches.
Take a trip to the busy fish market in the capital, Duong Dong. Here you can sample the anchovies used to make the island’s top-quality nuoc mam, the tangy fish sauce that’s famous in Vietnamese cuisine.
Phan Thiet
